Humboldt County Memorial Hospital receives updates on a regular basis from the Iowa Department of Public Health and is keeping staff informed of any changes. We are here to meet any healthcare needs that may arise.  

As with any illness, here's what we all can do to protect ourselves and others:

• Wash hands frequently. Always wash hands after sneezing or coughing. Use alcohol based hand gels when hand washing is not possible.
• Cough or sneeze into a tissue, or your sleeve or elbow
• If you feel ill, even if you think you could "tough it out" at work, STAY HOME!
• Don't send your kids to school if they feel ill
• Call your healthcare professional if you have:

                        *  Temperature over 100F

                        *   Coughing

                        *   Sore Throat

                        *   Extreme tiredness
