Humboldt County Memorial Hospital (HCMH) is a 21-bed Critical Access Hospital serving Humboldt County and the surrounding communities. The hospital provides acute, skilled, observation and hospice care services, along with a 28-bed distinct-part long-term care nursing unit. In addition to inpatient care, HCMH offers 24-hour emergency room coverage, comprehensive range of outpatient diagnostic services, ambulatory surgery, pain management, rehabilitation services, home and community health services, behavioral health services, walk-in clinic, nutritional services, ambulance services and transportation services.
The hospital campus also includes Springvale Independent and Assisted Living, supporting seniors with a continuum of care that allows residents to remain close to home as their needs change.
While modest in size, HCMH is defined by the depth, skill, and dedication of its staff. More than 300 employees stand ready to adapt and advance their skills as new technologies, innovations, and treatments are introduced to improve patient care.
HCMH is governed by a seven-member elected Board of Trustees and benefits from the strong support of an active Hospital Foundation and Auxiliary, both of which play an important role in supporting the hospital's growth and long-term sustainability.
Our Success
How do people decide which hospital to use? They go where their family and friends have had a good experience. We believe that our reputation is determined by our service and that our work must be done with the intent of delighting our customers by exceeding their expectations.
