What will our new ambulance offer?
The Everest/Road Rescue Type 1 ambulance is 4-wheel drive and provides increased security and traction for calls and transfers in adverse weather conditions. This ambulance also includes the option of an adjustable fluid suspension that gives greater stability and a more comfortable patient experience. The Everest/Road Rescue Type 1 ambulance features a fully welded aluminum frame box, including the frame, floor and all cabinets. This provides higher safety and security in the event of a crash or rollover. It also helps to eliminate noise that results from wood construction flexing during transport. This vehicle also includes the Stryker Power Load, a system designed to assist with loading the ambulance stretcher and patient thus reducing stress and risk of injury to the crew while loading and unloading the patient.
