Humboldt County Memorial Hospital Celebrates National Hospital Week, May 12–18

Humboldt County Memorial Hospital (HCMH) is proud to join hospitals across the nation in celebrating National Hospital Week, taking place May 12–18, 2025. This annual event is a special opportunity to recognize the dedication, compassion, and excellence of the 280+ strong workforce who make quality care a reality for our community every day.

HCMH is a 21-bed Critical Access Hospital providing acute and skilled care, complemented by a 28-bed distinct part long-term care unit. Our services extend well beyond the hospital walls, offering a full range of outpatient diagnostics, 24-hour emergency care, ambulatory surgery, rehabilitation, nutritional services, home and community health care, and ambulance services.

The hospital is governed by a seven-member elected Board of Trustees and is supported by a dedicated Foundation and Auxiliary, both of which play a vital role in the continued growth and success of our facility.

As we mark Hospital Week, we pause to celebrate the incredible individuals behind the care—nurses, physicians, therapists, aides, technicians, administrative staff, and many more—whose work exemplifies our commitment to exceeding expectations.
