Public Notice: Request for Qualifications Notice

Humboldt County Memorial Hospital intends to retain the services of a qualified Construction Manager as Risk (CMaR) for a new MRI Suite, additional Pre/Post Op rooms, & surgery lobby addition. As well as the renovated areas associated with those spaces. As such, they are initially requesting Qualification Statements from qualified firms to determine which firms will be offered the opportunity to submit their proposed fees for the project. 

 

CMaR Selection Schedule

· Public Notice of RFQ	January 29, 2026
· Issuance of RFQ	February 12, 2026
· Qualification Statements Due	February 26, 2026	2:00 p.m. local time
· Issuance of RFP	February 27, 2026
· Proposals Due & Opened	March 10, 2026	2:00 p.m. local time
· CMaR Selection & Board Approval	March 24, 2026

Design work is currently at the end of the Schematic Design phase. Construction is intended to begin June 2026, and be completed in July 2027. Construction estimate is currently set at $5,500,000.

 

Selection Criteria                                                                                       

To properly evaluate each CMaR firm, and in accordance with Iowa state law, Humboldt County Memorial Hospital will select the firm that offers the best value based on the criteria listed below and the ranking of each firm as it relates to the selection criteria:

·        Firm Profile and Background

·        Applicable Project Experience, Qualifications, and References

·        Project Team & Company Structure

·        Proposed Management Process

·        Safety Record & Internal Safety Program

·        Proposed Fees (to be provided in RFP issued to qualified firms)
